Personal Insights: Unbelieveable. I still cant believe I actually own this cape. It is a beautiful, special effects cape from Superman 3, where Superman fights Clark Kent.

General Information: As per Lloyd Nolan, Senior Propertyy Master, Warner Bros. Studios, Hollywood, USA:

"September 15, 1996

The item enclosed is Warner Bros. property # 12863-1781 costume; stunt cape for the production of Superman III

I authenticate that this particular item was used in March of 1983 in teh Alexander Salkind production of Superman III. It was used in scenes where Christopher Reeve is battling himself." ... "It has a vertical seam that runs down the length of the grament that was needed for special effects department, so the could "rotoscope" that particular scene.
Mr. Reeve wore this cape on four occasions and it received approximately nine minutes of screen time."
