Batman Maquette

"He was a Dark Knight dropping out of the clouds. He was a man and bat and the ghost of the dread Gotham night."

"Kingdom Come" the novel

Personal Insights: A great maquette, I also have the Superman maquette, and those two look great standing together. I am waiting for Warner Brothers to release other maquettes in the same style. The third maquette in the series is of Robin. I don't know who in WB made the decision to make Robin next, but I think it's a mistake, they should have done the justice league, Flash, WonderWoman, or anyone else.

General Information: This limited edition maquette is a cold-cast resin, hand painted recreation of the sculpture used by Warner Bros. animators to produce the acclaimed Batman animated television series. Stands 14" tall on a base featuring an etched Bat logo. Batman seen here, is as animated on the new Batman series.
Created in 1998 - Edition Size: 2500, this one is numbered 218

Series Information: The lore and legend of Batman have been told and retold in comic books, on television, and in motion pictures. Now, from Warner Bros. Animation, and a creative team who grew up with the exploits of the Dark Knight in all media, comes Batman: The Animated Series. Premiering on American television in September of 1992, the richly - produced series possesses the same mystique "Dark Deco" look, and bizarre villains that epitomized Warner Brothers' successful films. To some, he is merely a legend. To others, he is a dedicated, driven avenger. And to criminals he is their worst nightmare.
