Superman & Supergirl statue

From the silver age of comics (1950's - 1960's) comes a stunning re-creation of one of the era's most memorable covers, the first appearance on Earth of the Maid of Night, Supergirl. Once thought to be the sole survivor of the doomed planet Krypton, Superman was amazed to discover that his your cousin Kara had survived their homeworld’s destruction, only to be sent to join him on Earth where she too gained incredible powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men!

The Superman and Supergirl statue is a hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain statue featuring the first meeting of Superman and his your cousin from Krypton, Supergirl. Sculpted by Tim Bruckner, based on the cover of Action Comics #252 (May, 1959) by Curt Swan and Stan Kaye. This statue stands approximately 12 ½ inches tall, 13 ½ inches wide, with a base that measures 8 ¼ inches wide by 7 inches deep.
